Dr. Ezzat Shabani — OB-GYN & Fertility Clinic Website

The independent personal website of Dr. Ezzat Shabani, an obstetrician-gynaecologist and fertility specialist in Mashhad, Iran.

The challenge

The clinic's appointments used to be handled through public booking platforms. It had no independent presence of its own online, and the patient's journey — learning about treatments, booking, paying and receiving test results — was not in one place. The goal was a website that presents the clinic professionally and brings that whole journey together without intermediaries, for local and international patients alike.

The solution

• Online booking from the clinic's real schedule — choose a service, day and time; the chosen slot is held while the patient pays.
• Online payment — a full payment or a deposit through Zarinpal, with refunds handled according to the clinic's cancellation rules.
• A private patient portal — password-free login with an SMS code; view, cancel or reschedule appointments, receive files and test results securely, and leave a review.
• Automatic SMS — booking confirmations and a reminder the day before the visit.
• A professional shop window — calm teal and lavender design, a full-screen video, services and health articles, a success gallery and patient reviews; in Persian, English and Arabic, fully responsive.
• A clinic admin panel — a dashboard of appointments, payments and revenue; calendar and working hours; patient records; full content management with no developer needed; and separate permissions for the doctor and each secretary.
• Security and SEO — medical files kept private to the patient and authorised staff, sensitive data encrypted, a sitemap and multilingual setup for Google, and attractive link previews in messaging apps.

The result

The website is now both a professional showcase for Dr. Ezzat Shabani's clinic and a tool that simplifies its daily work: patients book and pay around the clock, reminders go out automatically, and the clinic team manages everything from one simple panel.

Built with Laravel, Filament, Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS and MySQL, with Zarinpal for payments and Kavenegar for SMS — plus more than 200 automated tests and automatic deployment with a health check after every release.
